Condition Guide
Vintage and pre-owned items may show signs of age, storage + previous wear. Condition ratings are a general guide, and any notable flaws will be described and photographed.

New New, unworn item. May include original tags or packaging when noted.

Deadstock Vintage item believed to be unworn or unused. May still show minor signs of age or storage due to its vintage nature.

Excellent Beautiful vintage condition with very minimal signs of age or wear. Any small imperfections will be noted when present.

Very Good Light signs of normal wear. May have minor marks, rubbing, fading or other age-related wear that does not significantly affect appearance or function.

Good Visible wear consistent with age and use. May include surface marks, corner wear, interior wear, hardware wear, fading or other imperfections. Fully usable unless otherwise noted.

Fair Noticeable wear or imperfections. May need cleaning, repair or restoration, or may be best suited to someone comfortable with visible vintage wear.

HOW SIZING WORKS

International, designer and vintage sizing can vary by brand, style and era, so the size on the tag is only part of the story.

For vintage clothing, Vintage Satisfaction provides a recommended modern size based on the garment's actual measurements. Measurements are taken with the garment laid flat.

For the best fit, compare the measurements in the listing with a similar piece you already own that fits you well.

Modern size ranges are approximate and intended as a general reference. Sizing varies by brand, cut and era, so please use the individual garment measurements for the best fit.

• Bust: measured straight across from underarm to underarm
• Waist: measured straight across the natural waist
• Hips: measured straight across the widest part
• Shoulders: measured seam to seam across the back
• Sleeve: measured from shoulder seam to cuff
• Rise: measured from the crotch seam to the top of the waistband
• Inseam: measured from crotch seam to hem
• Length: measured from the highest shoulder point or waistband to hem, depending on the garment
